Why the South West?

Being situated in Devon, there are fantastic opportunities and access to both the coast and Dartmoor.  There are numerous opportunities for outdoor pursuits and there is a lively nightlife within the city.  Beautiful parts of the Devon and Cornish countryside are close by allowing people to live in a country setting should they so wish.  Devon is the ideal place for people who wish to combine an interesting and varied business and social life.

In addition to the high quality training available in the southwest peninsula, there are many reasons for heading down to one of the picturesque parts of the country.

Devon and Cornwall are among the country’s top tourist regions, and with good reason, incorporating stunning landscapes, thrilling outdoor activities, a rich cultural heritage and an excellent nightlife.

The bleak splendour of Dartmoor offers some of the best walking in the country with craggy tors stretching on for miles where the only other living things that can be seen are the beautiful Dartmoor Ponies.

For those with a more energetic leaning, North Devon and Cornwall has the best beaches in the country with top quality surfing, windsurfing and scuba diving opportunities. The rugged landscape also allows for some challenging mountain climbing and biking.

The rapidly expanding city of Plymouth is famous for the Plymouth Hoe with its startling views of The Sound and rich history. It also has a thriving theatre, an excellent nightlife with the attractive Barbican offering the perfect place to drink on the waterfront and excellent shopping facilities with the newly opened Drake Circus Shopping Centre proving very popular.

Exeter is a diverse University city rich in culture, history and nightlife. Cafes, pubs and restaurants sit side-by-side with historic buildings such as the Cathedral and the Guildhall.

Truro, Cornwall’s only city, has a famous Cathedral that dominates and dominates the skyline and sits wonderfully in character amongst the city’s period streets and shops.
Nearby, there is a range of beautiful towns including Perranporth, Padstow and Falmouth.

Attractions such as the world famous Eden Project, St Michael’s Mount and the Lost Gardens of Heligan sit close by, offering wonderful days out.

Torquay, with its palm-lined promenade along the waterfront, is the centre of the English Riviera in the Southeast of Devon and has been one of the country’s top tourist attractions for many years now with its beautiful beaches, quality shopping and excellent eating and drinking establishments. Whatever you want, you will find this delightful region has everything you could require and quite a bit more besides.
